Paying tribute to Dame Antoinette Sybley after over 20 years as RAD president by the commission of a bust and the creation of a special Sibley scholarship, 5 January 2012
Participants: Paying tribute to Dame Antoinette Sybley after over 20 years as RAD president by the commission of a bust and the creation of a special Sibley scholarship

Story

On 26 April 2012, at the RAD's Annual General Meeting, we will be marking the retirement of our President Dame Antoinette Sibley, after  20 years.

Dame Antoinette has devoted so much of her time and energy to the Academy’s wellbeing that we think she merits a very special thank you.

The Board of Trustees has commissioned a bust of Dame Antoinette and the creation of a special Sibley scholarship, which will commemorate her name in perpetuity.

We hope that as many members as possible will feel able to make even a very modest contribution to this appeal in order that we might suitably express our admiration of and gratitude to this great ballerina.

If every RAD member contributed just £1.50 we would easily reach our target!
