A couple of months ago I heard an advert on the radio encouraging people to take part in 'Race For Life'. At the time, it seemed like a great way of giving me the motivation to get fit(ish) whilst raising money for this worthwhile cause. 

Since I agreed to take part, a few people have told me that 5k is 'easy' to complete. However, those of you who know me will know that I haven't really done any form of exercise since leaving school... therefore, I can assure you that completing this race for life is a real challenge for me!
