I decided to do the Miles for Mums Midnight Walk after seeing a leaflet that came through the door. I'd recently decided to do more exercise and this seemed like the perfect excuse to get some training in. The walk is 6 miles through the streets of Loughborough starting at midnight on 17th July 2010.

Rainbows is a local hospice for children and young people under 25 who have life-limiting conditions. They provide respite and palliative care, and support for patients and their families. They are currently hoping to raise £4m in order to build the 'Building For The Future'. This would enable even more children to benefit from the service and care provided by Rainbows and will improve the conditions in the existing building.
