Hi everyone,
As many of you know it is my Bat Mitzvah in December. I am taking this opportunity, of a milestone in my life, to help others who cannot help themselves. To do this good deed I’m going to need your help; I am doing a sponsored walk of 10 miles to support 2 great charities, Kisharon and Emunah.
The Sarah Herzog Children's Centre run by Emunah is based in Afula and cares for children "at risk" in Israel. They offer these children physical, emotional, psychological and social support with a unique combination of expertise and tender loving care. I am twinning my Bat Mitzvah with a girl called Daniella. ......
Kisharon is a Jewish organisation that support disabled(mental and physical)people from the age of 3 to adulthood, I chose Kisharon because I know it is a worthwhile charity. How do I know this? Because in the first 3 days of the summer holidays I went to the Kisharon course it was a fantastic experience because not only did I have a lot of fun while learning all about disabilities but I met children and adults from the nursery (Tuffkid), school and business centre. It was so heart warming to see everyone so happy and willing to help others despite has problems of their own, but they still need help.
This is where you come in, I will be collecting sponsorship for these two charities and If you would like to make a donation it would be much appreciated. The money I collect will help make a Israeli child remember their Bat Mitzvah as something special (Emunah) and also help disadvantaged children to have some fun on a new play area (Kisharon)
