One afternoon Ruby and Mae were sitting at the table eating thier dinner as they always do...
On this particular day they were having meatballs and rice. I have always encouraged my girls
to eat all their dinner because they know that there are some children that are not as lucky as they are.
Whilst they were eating their food, Mae turned to me with a very sad face and said... 'I think I should share my meatballs with the children that only have rice' Ruby added 'I think I should share my house with the children that have no home'
This is really where the idea to raise money for Children in Need began, from my beautiful, caring daughters.
So we have come up with a number of diffferent fundrasing ideas incorporating the activities that our girls love to do the most - an Auction of Ruby and Maes's Artwork, a Pudsey Bear Biscuit Sale at local football matches, pre- schools and offices and a dressing up sponsored day.
