This is by no means a huge event we are taking on, but it is to raise money for a charity that makes a real difference to peoples lives. Rufus is a PAT ( Pets as Therapy ) dog and visits a residential care home each weekend to brighten their day and provide a welcome distraction from their illness disabilities, with happy associations of their home comforts. 

Our fundraising will enable more animals and their owners to go through the assessments and place them with hospitals, hospices, special needs schools and similar that would benefit from a regular visit from a friendly dog or cat.
