Story
Well Folks, this year the RDH are doing something completely different from what we have done before. Over the past couple of years we have ran around Scotland from coast to coast and then last year ran the Five Capital Challenge, running from London to Cardiff to Dublin to Belfast to Edinburgh followed by the Edinburgh Marathon raising money for Care of Police Survivors and Cash for Kids along the way.
This year we are ditching the running shoes and putting on our cycling helmets to cycle the length of Britain. None of us are cyclists so this again is going to be a huge challenge. We will be starting at John O'Groats on Monday 24th July, heading for the Scottish Police Memorial at Tulliallan where we will set off from on Thursday 27th July as part of the Police Unity tour. The unity tour will end at the National Memorial Arboretum Staffordshire on Sunday 30th July, at which point the RDH team will continue their challenge and cycle to Lands End.
Again this year we are raising money for CARE OF POLICE SURVIVORS and CASH FOR KIDS and any donations made will be greatly appreciated by the RDH team and both charities.
