In September 2011 we received the worst possible news; Cherryl Poppitt, Landlady at The Royal Exchange Stone, had developed inoperable cancer and after a very short illness passed away on 21st Oct.

She is hugely missed by her family, staff, customers and the community.

In her memory, and as a thank you to The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, Holditch Ladies FC are running 10.2 miles from Newcastle Under Lyme to The Royal Exchange in Stoke on Sunday December 11th 2011. We would really appreciate your support in raising money for such a worthy cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
