Thanks for taking the time to visit our joint JustGiving page.

One of our good friends has polycystic kidneys and over the last couple of years his kidney function has declined quite rapidly to the point where he is now on the list for a kidney transplant and will have to start dialysis very soon.

It really made all of us think how much people's lives can be affected by something such as this, and that if we raised some money for the PKD Charity, we might be able to assist in providing some help to others with this disease.

So, we all decided to run the Great Manchester Run event on Sunday 26th May 2013 and ask all our friends and family to consider donating to our page for PKD.

Mark and Caroline will be in Portugal and so have planned a 10k route to do at the same time as everyone else.

The Borthwick family are in Scotland and are planning a route along Loch Tay.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Thanks so much
