Hello everyone,

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

In a moment of lunacy we (Nick, Alf, Ben, Seb, Tom and Pascal) have decided to complete the Men's Health Survival of the Fittest challenge, a 10k extreme obstacle course which will see us running through mud, jump in skips of ice and clamber over gigantic inflatables around the derelict Battersea Power Station (the one with the cybermen).

We're doing this in MID-NOVEMBER because we are clearly unstable   however we would like to do more that just survive the crazy course we'd like to do it for a good cause too.

We are hoping to collect £400 for Stonewall. Stonewall is a leading charity in the UK working for equality and justice for lesbians, gay men and bisexuals.

They are particularly important in tackling homophobia, raising awareness and trying to reinforce the recent breakthroughs in civil rights for the LGB community both in the UK and internationally e.g. the recent passing of the  Marriage (Same-Sex Couples bill).

Stonewall's vocal support and tireless hardwork throughout the public consultation and bill processes means that all of us in the UK now have the opportunity to marry whomever we fall in love with regardless of gender.

If you're reading this page, odds are you know one of us personally and you'll hopefully get invited to a samesex wedding at some point in the future which is another excellent reason to show your support for Stonewall!

There are basic rights which every human being should be able to enjoy regardless of their sexuality however these are still under constant attack from a small but very aggressive minority who think that we as a community don't deserve to live happy or normal lives.
