Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions the organisers of the Coventry Half Marathon made the tough decision to cancel the event. As it won’t be rescheduled this year I have booked a place to run the Leeds Half Marathon on 13th May 2018!

UPDATE 08/02/18- support has been overwhelming! We are now aiming to build TWO water wells in India and double the impact on communities and those in need! Please donate generously and help us hit our £600.00 target!

I am aiming to raise £600.00 for PennyAppeal’s Thirst Relief campaign. This will be enough to build TWO water wells in India! 

Through Thirst Relief PennyAppeal are building wells in 9 countries, providing safe water to drink, wash and clean, to grow crops and to water animals. This can lead to healthier lives, a better chance to go to school or work and a route out of poverty.

When the wells are built I will be sent a feedback report which I will upload to social media so everyone who is kind enough to donate can see it in action and find out about the people it is supporting. You can really see where your hard earned money is going! 

After the half marathon on the 18th of March 2018 I will be blessed and lucky enough to quench my thirst. Millions and millions of people around the world do not have this access to such a basic necessity- clean water. But with your help and support we can try and put an end to that. One water well at a time!

I am aiming to build the wells in memory of my two grandfathers. My paternal grandfather was a huge influence on my life and I have longed for the opportunity to do something in his memory. I did not have the opportunity to meet my maternal grandfather as he passed before my birth, but this just makes me want to do good in his memory even more.
