Susie Lockyer lost both her son and husband to cancer in 2013, she was then diagnosed with terminal cancer herself in 2014. After receiving this terrible news, so soon after the death of Gary and Brian, Susie could have just given up and hid herself away, but she didn't. She made it her mission to raise as much money as she could for Cancer Research UK and inspired lots of other people along the way. #teamsusie was created to link all of these people together and to collectively raise money for a charity that works towards beating a disease that has affected us all in one way or another. 

Sadly in July 2017, susie passed away. She managed to raise an incredible £20,000 for her cause, and her family refuse to let this incredible legacy end, they have continued to raise money and support and have since raised over £48,000! 

Sadly in a cruel twist her niece Lisa, developed cancer also, she is currently fighting and beating the holy hell out of it!

So on October 28th, it marks not only her birthday celebration, but also the end of her treatment, and we couldn't think of a better present to give her then to do something amazing, raise some money, and help this legacy to keep going, thank you for taking the time to read this amazing story, and please help anyway you can!
