My story
Every year, fans around the world come together in order to make Rupert Grint's birthday a special day for him. This year, all of us at www.rupert-grint.us decided to make a special Birthday Project - but we need help from all of you to make this the most special project so far.
We had the opportunity to ask Rupert which charity is closest to his heart and he chose the Teenage Cancer Trust which is the only UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people diagnosed with cancer.
So instead of spending money on gifts for Rupert we want you to use that money on a cause that really needs it. We have set the goal on £824 because we wanted a number that represented Rupert - his 24th birthday being on 24 August! But let us surpass that goal and raise even more money for Teenage Cancer Trust!
This project means a lot to us and we hope that you will donate and spread the word to anyone and everyone. When you have donated you can leave a comment to wish Rupert a Happy Birthday which we will pass along to him on the big day.

Every day in the UK, six teenagers are diagnosed with cancer. At Teenage Cancer Trust, we understand that cancer doesn’t stop these teenagers being teenagers. We know that young people have a much better chance if they are treated by teenage cancers experts, in an environment tailored to their needs. So we have created specialist units that aren’t like ordinary cancer wards. Everything about them has been designed to give teenagers the very best chance of a positive outcome. And we want every young person with cancer in this country to have that chance.
