Story

Firstly, WATCH THIS (caution, contains RALLYING):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqGUD6Wz14w

I was moved by a video, and how could any motorsport fan (or human) not be touched it?

Oh. My. God. What have I done? Before I knew it I'd agreed to run the Silverstone Half Marathon for the Richard Burns Foundation. damn you You Tube.

I've never run very far in my life, in fact, I'd never run at all until just over a year ago, so this seemed like a challenge worthy of 'maximum attack'. So on an unseasonably warm March morning, I set off with around 10,000 others with a personal target of finishing, and if possible, within 2hrs 20mins. With some much needed cheering from The Richard Burns Foundation at the 9 mile marker providing a much needed lift to the spirits, I made the finish in 2hrs 24mins, which I am VERY pleased with.
