I am fundraising because my Friends beautiful daughter, Ruby, was diagnosed with Rett syndrome the day before her second birthday this August. This syndrome is life changing and strips their daughters of the ability to communicate, eat and walk.

Imagine the symptoms of Autism, Cerebal Palsy, Parkinsons, Epilepsy and Anxiety disorders all in one little girl. I am walking/jogging  5km every day for 50 days finishing on the 28th October 2012. what keeps me walking is by thinking that Ruby may never be able to without the Cure they are working on. The cure for Rett syndrome may be the FIRST reversible syndrome and may assist research in finding cures for many other conditions too.
