The Forces March, 131 miles in 5 days (5 Marathons in 5 consecutive Days)
I served in the Army from 1983 to 1994 and have seen some active service, but nothing like what todays boys and girls see.
The 5 marathons in 5 consecutive days will take place from 27th to 31st May 2010. Until this time I will be training extremely hard to help all the Service People of Project 65 and hope to raise as much funds as possible for them and their families.
More than that I am hoping to show that people do care. Whilst money does help, the physical show of presence is, in my humble opinion, far greater. Sometimes you just need someone to care. Please show that you care.
By the end of the 5 days, for each pound raised I will cycle a mile, to a maximum of 10,000 (surely thats enough for a full time working boy). Now surely there's an incentive to pledge some funds.
