Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I decided to take part in this years Pedal for Scotland, following the passing of my friend Gordon Stewart, (pictured with his wife Fiona above) I want to raise funds for Marie Curie, as both Gordon and his family have praised them for the way they were with Gordon and for the terrific work they do for others.

I once passed a bit of advice to Gordon many years back relating to work, Gordon took it on board and quoted what I had said few years on thanking me.

The way in which Gordon conducted himself during his illness has been truely insperational, the strength and courage which he maintained till the end, things he has said and storys he has told me, will stay with me forever, like when he recieved the devistating news that the cancer was back, most people would have crumbled but Gordon turned to his wife and Dad who were with him at the time and told them they would need to "man up" that they couldnt go back into the waiting area visibly upset, as that wasnt fair to the people there, who were in the same situation as himself.

This is a true reflection and the mark of the man !

Gordon was asked to describe himself in three words he said " Funny, Intelegent and Good looking " 2 out of 3 is no bad big yin !
