<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>I thought rather than sit around and watch cricket all summer I would try and raise some funds for men and women who risk their lives all over the world to protect our way of life. There are conflicts all over the world and The Royal British Legion work so hard for these</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"> <span lang="EN-GB">hero’s</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> dependants and families.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;">London</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> to </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;">Paris</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> is some 440 km over 100 km a day starting in </span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;">Greenwich</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> and</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"> <span lang="EN-GB">finishing</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> under Arc de Triomphe with a memorial service.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> I will find it tough as I have never</span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB;"> <span lang="EN-GB">ridden</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial; color: black; font-size: 12.5pt;"> a road bike before, I have already started to train and am finding it to be so much harder than I expected. I have to ride at least 3 times a week and have already done a 50 mile ride including a trip up Box Hill but I am no where near ready to go and am the weakest of our group.
