Dryathlon · 1 January 2014 to 31 January 2014 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

This January I’m taking on Dryathlon® and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I’ll be ditching the drink for one month to help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.

If you think that at any point this month you might have bought me a pint, shared a bottle of wine over dinner, or drained a flask of whiskey with me in the bath, then please donate those pounds instead.

The £4 of a pint would be hugely appreciated (Northerners - you can donate £1.80, and a butter pie)

As you may know, my Dad's been in the clear for some time now. But every pound you donate allows him to have another glass of refreshment in the knowledge that the NHS can continue to bear the weight of his indulgence, with the support of Cancer Research UK's vital work. Do give generously.
