I will be joining hundreds of other like minded walkers on the 21st September to walk 15 miles across London in the dark to raise much needed money to finance additional research on this invidious condition often refered to as "The Silent Stealer of Sight". Currently, in the early stages it can only be diagnosed via an eye health check and the individual will probably not know there is a problem until it is in an advanced form. Unfortunately, once the damage is done it is not possible to turn the clock back and rescue the lost vision which is why it is so important to fund more research.
