Yes, it's true. I will be running the Birmingham Half Marathon this year. I have chosen to run for what I believe to be the very worthy cause of Help for Heroes. This is a charity I feel very strongly about and hope whatever I raise will make a positive difference to injured service personnels lives.A few times every week I see RAF transport aircraft on “Medevac” flights dropping wounded British soldiers off at Birmingham International Airport, for treatment at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
