Story
On Sunday 6 December 2009, I'm going to be dressing as Santa and running around Greenwich park with about a thousand other Santas.
I'm running for St Joseph's Hopsice in Hackney, a local hopsice who do fantastic work caring for people with incurable, life-limiting illnesses across East and North East London. They provide a broad range of services which enrich the lives of patients and their families.
All of their services are provided free of charge to all who can benefit. It costs £12 million to run the hospice every year but less than half of this comes from the NHS – the rest comes from fundraising activities (like running around a park dressed as santa...). You can find out more about what they do here http://www.stjh.org.uk/.
Please sponsor me, the nature of St Josephs means that even a small amount will make a big difference.
Russell.
