Here I go again!I had the privilege to run the marathon last year for JRS and what an amazing experience it was. Not only was it fulfilling for the physical achievement for a ‘normal’ non athletic bodied person, but also in knowing I was helping a very good cause.
Being a foreigner myself I understand how difficult it can be being away from your homeland...that is why I am running my second marathon for JRS.
News 28th Of February:
The weather was not brilliant for running as you all know. Both my knees have been playing up...However, I have been trying to keep my weekly mileage over 30 miles and run a half-marathon at least once a month. My best time for a half-marathon so far is 2 hours and 9 minutes.
News 7th of March:
I have been on track with my mileage this week and managed to complete a half-marathon today at my best time! I am so proud of myself!
News 13th of March:
I have done 30.1 miles this week. My longest run was 8 miles. Getting ready for 16 miles run next week.
News 20th of March:
I have done 40 miles this week! My latest run has been 20 miles! It was fun running in the rain, you must try yourself! My recovering body is looking forward to having a steak and a glass of wine!
I will be updating you on my achievements.
NEWS 25th of April:
I did it! In 4hours, 49 minutes and 4 seconds. I overtook Sir Richard Branson on the 8th mile, and it made me feel GOOD! Oh yes, I have pains and sores and blisters, but I did manage to get some pleasure before I got pain! You are welcome to sponsor me and share my success!
