As some of you may know a few of us from the family are running the Berlin marathon in September. Most fo you will know we are a very competitive family, and so the event will be interesting to say the least (my only aim is to try and beat Hannah!). Having personal experience with family with dementia and Alzheimer's , and with both affecting more and more people this is a worthy cause. Anything you could donate would be greatly appreciated.

Alzheimer's and dementia are increasingly affecting more and more people. Most people will know at least one relative affected by this, which is why it is such a good cause to donate to.

In particular I am raising money for the Live Well Campaign which supports carers and trains them how to cope with the situation they are in.

The Live Well Campaign can use very penny effectively:

£2.00 pays for a factsheet to be recorded onto an audio CD for visually impaired people with Dementia

£1,000.00 will train a trainer to transform the lives of hundreds of carers
