Story

Hey folks!

Since I'm sticking it out through the "mørketid" ('dark time') up here in Tromsø in the north of Norway this winter, what better way to help make it through to when the sun appears in the sky again than to make the most of the darkness and go for a run... for a reason...!

I will be joining Tromsø's "Polar Night 10k" on January 8th, here's what they say about it to give you a feel;

"At this time of the winter the sun is completely absent from the Tromsø sky, and the only visible sources of light are the moon and the occasional northern lights. This is a race where the runners face the challenge of icy snow and biting cold, as well as the race itself. Are you up for it?"

Double what I've ever run before and definately new territory so to give me the warm boost I might need, I would hugely appreciate it if you would like to give a little something towards my favourite charity which I have been very involved with over my last few years in Edinburgh.

'People and Planet' is an incredibly inspiring and active student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human tights and protect the environment. Any amount you feel able to give would be a massive help to the fantastic work that they do.

Tusen takk skal du har :)

PS. and please cross your fingers that we are blessed with a sky like the one in the picture on the 8th...!
