Hi there, thanks for coming to my donation page. If you ever thought there was a person less likely to run the London Marathon I imagine it would be me! Well, I agree. In a bid to get fit once and for all, on April 22nd 2012 I will be trudging the 26 miles and 385 yards around London and I would love your support!
Your donations will be a great moral boost to me as I am training here in Beirut and will spur me on around the course in April. Furthermore, they are going to a great cause. Survival International works to bring awareness to the plight of Indigenous peoples all over the world. As most of you know I studied Anthropology at uni and so although an unfamiliar topic to many, I know that it really is a worthwhile cause!
You can look on it as a double handed donation, one to will me around the course and the other offering support to those who live unique and threatened lives.
I have created a page for you to follow my progress and laugh at my blisters should you so wish - it also makes me run if I know there is the possibility that people are watching me! You can follow me at:

Please dig deep and donate as much as you are able to - I really appreciate it!
Thanks, Ruth
