My story

I'd like to say a very big thank you to all who have donated to make this event go so well, we have exceeded our expectations on the amount raised. Our hair is now growing very well and  we shall soon be back to our original styles.

Thanks again Ruth and Shelagh

My mother in law and I are having our heads shaved for TAG in hope to raise funds and awareness at midday on the 1st  April 2010 at our local hairdressers. (This is NOT an April Fool!!) The date has been arranged to coincide with the third and final radio appeal on BBC Radio 4 at 3:27pm, which aims to raise awareness of the charitiy and hopefully raise some money at the same time. The Radio 4 appeals can also be heard on Sunday 28th March at 7:55am (for those early birds) and again at 9:26pm, as well as online at   www.bbc.co.uk/radio/appeal

TAG is the charity that provides contact and support to those living with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita (AMC) and their friends and families.  This is a condition which, unusually, runs in my family through three generations including myself and my children,  my brother and my late father. TAG has provided us as a family with much support over the years and we would like to continue to help raise the charity's profile and help raise funds. For this, we need your help.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and please donate where possible.

At The Arthrogryposis Group we are able to offer local level support to people living with Arthrogryposis Muliplex Congenita (AMC) or one of the 200 related conditions. We provide regular information and updates on care and treatment, and through our events we give excellent opportunities to meet others with arthrogryposis, their families and anyone involved in their care.
