I have never been sporty and have this year decided to get fit. I have never run anything like this before but come march the 7th I will be running just over 13 miles eeek! I am in the process of training at the moment, and its hard but it is very much worth it!

one25 is an extraordinary organisation who provide support and meet the basic human needs of female street based sex workers in Bristol.
I have been volunteering for them for over 4 years now and I love it, the women are some of the most amazing people you will ever have the privilege to meet. There is a drop in where they can come and have a hot meal, sleep for a few hours in a safe environment (sometimes this is the only safe sleep these girls get), do their washing, have a shower get some clean clothes, see the doctor and get support with making steps to move away from the dangerous lifestyle they live.
The van goes round 5 nights a week providing the girls who are working with a hot drink, a food bag, contraception and a listening ear and a safe space for a few minutes. This again is an amazing privilege to be part of a team working there.
Naomi House has also opened recently as a mother and baby unit for the women who have come off drugs and want to have support in looking after their newborn baby. There are only a few of these units in the country and this is an amazing chance for the women to put their lives back together and move forward into motherhood.

So please support me in this mammoth task in raising money for one25. These women are often considered socially the lowest of the low and the fact that people have the time to do things for them or think to provide for them through a service like this means so much to them. Help one25 to give them the support they need to deal with the tough choices they have to face and make steps towards a better life.

Thank you!!
