In August 2012 I plan on joining a group of students in climbing the highest mountain in Africa - Mt. Kilimanjaro.  I have been asked a couple of times as to why I wish to spend part of my summer undergoing this challenge which is not just a simple walk up a hill!!!  My answer is simple: to raise money for such a worthy charity - 'Dig Deep'.

'Dig Deep' is a charity that works to provide sustainable solutions to problems faced by communities in Kenya, such as clean water and electricity - simple things which we too often take for granted: http://digdeep.org.uk/
