We are looking to raise £25,000 for the ITFC Community Trust’s work in the local Ipswich area by offering supporters the opportunity of a lifetime by spending 10-days working on local community projects in developing areas of Kenya. Trip participants have the opportunity to work with any of the following projects:
- Football Coaching
- Teaching in Schools
- Community Work with Children
- Multi-sports coaching
I will be staying with a local family throughout the duration of the trip. I am going to be teaching children, which considering my maternal instinct (or rather lack of it!) is pretty amazing! I am really looking forward to this challenge. I am currently sourcing equipment through various veterinary companies and organizations to take with me for the children. Part of the task though, I also need to raise funds. I am fundraising by doing car boot sales and selling off sports memorabilia through various auction sites.
