My story
Ruth had massive support from Sobell House. She benefited in 3 ways:
(a) music therapy - this had a huge impact on her in her final year, and she produced poignant and beautiful songs. This support helped her express what was difficult, and is a part of her musical legacy ;
(b) practical living support - through Occupational Therapy she had numerous living aids to maintain independence around the house and support outside;
(c) palliative care and treatment - so important in her hardest times, this support ensured she was free from pain, and remained calm and peaceful, right to the end.
Sobell House does all this and so much more. We are honoured to support the essential and lasting work they do. Please help their work continue so many more can benefit, as Ruth did.

Sobell House Hospice Charity supports Sir Michael Sobell House who at any one time help hundreds of patients with life threatening illnesses to live with dignity and freedom from pain in the time they have available. The focus is on the individual and their loved ones.
