<p>Ruth had massive support from Sobell House. She benefited in 3 ways:</p> <p>(a) music therapy - this had a huge impact on her in her final year, and she produced poignant and beautiful songs. This support helped her express what was difficult, and is a part of her musical legacy ;</p> <p>(b) practical living support - through Occupational Therapy she had numerous living aids to maintain independence around the house and support outside;</p> <p>(c) palliative care and treatment - so important in her hardest times, this support ensured she was free from pain, and remained calm and peaceful, right to the end.</p> <p>Sobell House does all this and so much more.
