Story
Thank you for visiting my page.
I'm switching the running shoes for the bike for my next challenge - a return trip from John O'Groats to Land's End (having walked up from Land's End five years ago).
Stage 1 is now complete: 480 miles to Edinburgh, taking in the East coast of Caithness, the Black Isle, Moray, Banff and Fife Coastal paths.
Stage 2, later in the year, will take me down either the Pennines or a continuation of the East Coast - precise route still tbd.
Money raised will continue to go toward supporting children's work in Iraq and Syrian refugees.
Christians in many parts of the Middle East are dealing with targeted violence: robbery, torture, rape, murder. Many, especially in Iraq and Syria, have been forced from their homes.
Your sponsorship will help to provide much needed counselling and practical support for Christian communities in the Middle East, many of whom have had to "Run for their Lives" because of their faith.
Please help to support them by donating here. Thank you.
Gift Aid - Ticking the box, what does it mean?
Under Gift Aid, the HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will usually top up every £1 given to with 25p. So we could receive £250 for every £1,000 donated with no extra expense.
For donations to be eligible for Gift Aid, the donor needs to be a UK taxpayer and have paid an equal amount in income/capital gains tax.
Races completed for last year's "Run For Their Lives" challenge:
