Please sponsor my run across the Gobi desert in .
On June 27, 2010, I will compete in the Gobi March - a 255km, multi-day ultra-marathon stage race across a remote area of ’s desert. TIME magazine branded the race the second toughest endurance competition in the world. Simply put, the race is a marathon a day for four days, with a double marathon on the fifth day. This year, the race takes place around the , the hottest place in and the second lowest place on Earth.
Every 7 minutes someone dies from heart disease or stroke. I am not only running this race for each of these victims, but also in honor of someone in particular: my Father. He suffered a heart attack and passed at the young age of 45, 25 years ago. In his memory, this race marks the culmination of 45 marathons, across 25 countries. Your sponsorship will inspire me to run stronger, longer and faster.
