Story

The Ben Nevis Charity Challenge is an exciting team challenge set in the stunning Scottish Highlands. A Team of four of us are taking up the challenge to climb Ben Nevis, cycle 25 miles and canoe Loch Lochy.

With a combined age of 180 years old we are all currently not physically fit so this really will be a challenge! If only one of the events was driving a desk!

From the start point at Claggan Park in Fort William we will begin our trek to the summit of Ben Nevis and back down to Claggan Park to change into our tight lycra cycling gear. We will then cycle 15 miles to imaginatively named Loch Lochy. From here on we will be canoeing the Loch and then back on our bikes to annoy some more of the Scottish road users for a further 10 miles back to Claggan Park.

We are supporting the charity "Children with Cancer UK" as we have experienced Lilablu Langney-Vincent (aged 3) the daughter of a long standing friend and client of our firm who sadly passed away from Neuroblastoma, she would be 8 this year (July 2014).

Sarah Langney the mother kindly gave us permission to share this information with you.

As a firm we have also lost many clients/friends to cancer, currently one of our employees is suffering from this disease and one of our colleagues sadly lost her husband a few years ago.

An average of 1,574 children (0-14 years) per year in the UK were diagnosed with cancer in 2009-2011.

Your donations and support will be greatly appreciated and will help support children and their parents.
