My reason for starting this up is that come the end of March I'll be getting my bags packed for a month working in Peru. The Vine Trust charity has been running the Amazon Hope Project for some years now and this year I'd like to contribute to the changes they are implementing. This project involves travelling on a medical ship along tributaries of the River Amazon with a team of healthcare professionals (ie doctors, dentists and nurses), donating primary healthcare to the indigenous Peruvian population. As you can see from the target, I have set a reasonably high goal and any contribution you're able to make would be highly appreciated.
