Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On September 14th, 2013, I will be running, walking and maybe crawling, 62 miles from Putney Bridge, in London, to Henley, following the route of the River Thames.  Originally, I thought it would be a good way to prove to myself how much physical and mental strength I really possess.  However, with the effort that's going to be needed in preparing for this attempt and to complete the challenge on the day, it would be a wasted opportunity for me not to raise whatever I can to support others less fortunate than me.

My charity of choice was decided by my 8 year old son who "doesn't want children to die".  Save the Children not only save lives, they fight for children's rights and help them reach their full potential.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The more you donate, the more I will be spurred on in completing this challenge.  Together, we can make a difference, however big or small, perhaps even save a life.  So please dig deep and donate now.  No donation is too small.
