I am training for my first ever 10k run, the RunFor All York 10K on Sunday 7th August 2016 to raise funds for BenendenCharitable Trust.

I set myself a challenge of running my first ever10k to raise money for a charity before I was 40! As time is quickly running out I knew 2016 was the year I had to do it and I couldn't think of a more worthwhile cause than  running for Benenden Charitable Trust. Benenden Charitable Trust provides grants to people struggling to make ends meet because of illness, disability and medical conditions.

Most people enjoy relative financial security and won't miss £5-£10 donated to charity, but for those whoneed it, a little financial support can go a very long way in helping them backto health and financial stability.
