Wessex 3 Day Sportive · 25 May 2013

St Margaret’s Hospice has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.

Story

Peter Maxwell, Angus Henderson, Dan Close and myself will be riding the Wessex 3 day cycle challenge on Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th and Monday 27th May. It is supposedly the biggest and hardest 3-day event in the world. We are training hard at the moment as we will have to ride 335 miles and climb 25,168 feet in the 3 days. Starting from Somerton each day, we will be riding up to Cheddar Gorge on the first day, down to Lulworth and Corfe Castle on the second day and over to the Quantocks and Exmoor on the third. We would like to raise money for the St Margaret's Hospice which is a fantastic local charity who provide very important palliative care to terminally ill cancer patients in Somerset.
