I am doing a 4.5 km sky dive on Sunday 13th September for The Children's Hospital Charity, for the Children's Hospital Bedroom Appeal

The aim is to raise £25,000 by 2016 to pay for an extra room to be built at Sheffield Children's Hospital where the parents can stay whilst their child receives often life saving treatment. 

I am doing this skydive for one very special little girl Amelia Beck.

Amelia is Helen and Hermann Beck's wonderful little 3 year old daughter.  Amelia’s life was saved at 5 weeks old by the remarkable team of doctors and nurses at Sheffield's Children's Hospital. Amelia has a heart condition and has on several occasions needed specialist care, which has tirelessly been provided by the team in Sheffield. Over the last 8 years Helen and Hermann have become great friends of mine and I wanted to help them in this small way, to achieve their target and provide the badly needed extra rooms at Sheffield’s Children’s hospital.
