Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said giving charity NEVER decreases your wealth!

My story:

I was blessed to be called to Allahs house to perform Umrah in April (2013). This was indeed the beginning of my real spiritual journey Alhamdulilah! Disconnecting myself from the materialism of this Dunya (world) and truly appreciating and recognising its real purpose (worship of Allah alone) and that everything which happens is by Allahs decree.

 

To enhance that experience i then attended the 3day seminar held by Almaghrib - Forever: A journey through Heaven and Hell which was held by an amazing speaker such an eye opening, heart trembling, inspirational course!

 

One thing the speaker said has stuck with me...

"Its not what others do to you... its what you do to them" - Allah does not account for what people do for you but for what you do for them; be it charity in the form of giving money, speaking kind words, doing good things for them or making dua (this includes family, relative, orphans those in need)

 

That is why i have made this page..

 

It is one of the 5 pillars of islam: To give in charity is to spend out of what Allah has given you for the sake of Allah and having that sympathy and benevolance towards Allahs creation will help to bring out the best and highest qualities in you

 

Several references in the Quran to giving charity:

 

Al Insan (8-9)

An Nisa (36)

Al Baqara (215)

 

The urge to fill that hole that emptyness inside of me is indeed that need of spiritual healing which can only come from submitting myself to Allah (swt) for the sake of Allah and Inshallah by Allahs will the money raised for orphans in need will reach millions and billions and trillions of children and so forth!

 

Sorry about the essay i know i've waffled abit! But this is not just to fulfil my wishes but for the sake of Allah raise money for those truly in need no matter how small the donation is each and every penny will count inshallah :)

 

May Allah (swt) bless us all and grant us a place in Jannah and save us from Hellfire!
