Inca Train Charity Challenge · 6 April 2007 ·

ADDISS provides information and support to families, adults and children who struggle daily to cope with the burden of having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. We are trying to raise money to build a national network of support for families all over the country. We currently run a telephone helpline. We offer training to schools and families.

Story

Hi,

In April 2007, I'm off to deepest darkest Peru to Trek the Inca Trail to raise money for ADDISS.

My Best Friend's Son, Max was diagnosed earlier this year with ADHD. I know the struggle both her and Max face on a day to day basis as a result of his condition, so when Simone asked me to do this Trek I could not say No.

I did think about saying No though as some of you may well know. The thought of the Trek alone tired me out. I have six months to get in shape though and with the support of my family and friends I'm sure I'll make it.

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: ADDISS will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
