My colleagues and I have chosen to participate in the annual Boxing Day Dip to raise as much money as possible for Cancer Connections. Whatever we raise Santander will also match!

Cancer Connections is a local charity based in South Shields, they are dedicated to serving individuals and families suffering from cancer and it's after effects. Offering emotional support, counselling and benefit advice. Something that is quite personal to some members of the team at South Shields. I have personally been affected by breast cancer and the photo on this page was taken just days before i started chemo. I feel that this charity is invaluable in helping cancer patients deal with the emotional challenges that life brings during and after active treatment.
