---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In August this year, a team of 13 staff from a total of 10 European countries where Cushman & Wakefield operates, will set out on a grueling trek to reach the summit of Kilimanjaro, the highest point in , in support of the firm’s registered charity, Schools Around The World [SATW].

Harry Farthing , Managing Director  of Cushman & Wakefield Italy who is leading the trek together with James Meikle, Lamberto Agostini and Corrado Ferretti will channel all funds raised by them to SATW’s Abruzzo project.

The Abruzzo earthquake in April 2009 destroyed an entire community and while government and aid agencies have helped to rebuild parts of the towns and villages, there remains a huge lack of infrastructure and facilities for local communities, especially for the schools in the area.

C&W Italy, through its SATW charity, is planning to build by the end of 2010, a local community sports centre in Villa Sant’Angelo, which will include a new indoor five-a-side pitch.

At a time when all charities have suffered due to the economic difficulties of the past 18 months, the SATW Kilimanjaro trek is an opportunity to raise funds for a project that aims to give something back to the children that are still hugely affected by this natural disaster. A community sports centre such as this will encourage social regeneration for years to come.

Cushman & Wakefield and SATW are committed to ensuring that your donation will be channelled directly into the construction costs on site, rather than general administrative costs that larger charities have to cover.

So please dig deep and donate now.

-----------------------------------------------------------IN ITALIANO--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
