Whilst the bells ring out from Westminster Abbey for the royal wedding, a group of adventurists from FMO UK will be travelling to North Wales to partake in the Annual FMO UK Charity Challenge. So from the team that brought you last year’s challenge ‘100km Walk in Under 24 Hours’ now comes their version of a 'North Wales Triathlon'.
This challenge will take place on the 30 April as we attempt to scale North Wales by land and sea (actually a lake). So we will start our day by climbing Snowdon, Wales's tallest peak, followed by a 5km kayak in icy cold waters of Llyn Padarn and finally cycle 15km back to B&B for a well deserved drink and some food.
Overall, we expect to complete this extreme challenge within 7-10 hours and so imagine there will be a lot of tired people scattered across the Welsh Valleys for days after.
As always we are raising money for a very good cause this year and one which helps young people in the London Borough of Newham being Outdoors in the City (OITC). OITC helps hundreds of people every year by offering kids somewhere to go, to learn about discipline, team work and responsibility, as it is centred around outdoor activities like rock climbing and BMX’ing. The following link gives a lot more details;

We will also be helping set up any equipment that is bought from this challenge in our voluntering days throughout the year.
Therefore please give generously so that we can help this centre grow.
