Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page!

I'm proud to be running the London Marathon in aid of the Down's Syndrome Association.

I was inspired to do so after seeing the fantastic work that my football team (Queens Park Rangers) have done in conjunction with the DSA..namely QPR's Community Trust and their Tiger Cubs Football Team.

For more information on QPR's Tiger Cubs have a look here: http://www.qprcommunitytrust.co.uk/qpr_tiger_clubs.aspx

For those of you that don't know too much about Down's Syndrome check out this BBC information page http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/conditions/downssyndrome1.shtml

A simple stat for you, in the 50's people born with the syndrome lived to circa 15...However, due to a better understanding of the condition the average life expectancy of someone with Down's Syndrome is now circa 60.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
