I am desperately trying to raise as much money as I can for LAM Action, a charity that has raised awareness of a disease that has significantly affected how  my Mum has been able to lead her life in recent years. The real name of the disease is Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (no idea how to pronounce it, but appropriately for a butcher it is abbreviated to LAM!!) which is basically non-cancerous tumours that grow on the lung and slowly restrict the capacity of the lung. It normally developes at an early age, as it is hormone fed, but unfortunately my Mum has developed this disease at a later time of her life.

My plan is to take part in The Pedal For Scotland race, which is a cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh to raise money for this charity. It is a bum numbing 50 miles. Please, please give generously.
