Story
I was recently inspired, after a client of mine told me about an idea that he has dreamed of for the last 15 years. His family had been affected by a stroke; I said I wanted to help. His story left me not only wanting to raise money, but also raise some awareness- after all, I knew very little about something which has affected so many lives in the UK and beyond.
At Sexy in the City Bootcamps we had been planning to help change the outlook, health and lives of a team of 20 women by training, coaching and motivating them through the ultimate challenge The Tough Guy 10k adventure race. This seemed like the perfect opportunity… With enthusiasm, the right training and a bit of hard work, we wanted to help women raise their expectations of what they can achieve. And this was also the perfect opportunity to raise vital funds for The Stroke Association.
So this coming January, to raise funds for The Stroke Association, Team SITC have teamed up with SquareMile Magazine to take on the toughest race of all, The Tough Guy on 27th January 2012!
The team members for SITC:
Julie brinkley
Vanessa Horgan
Natalie Rouse

Meradith Molony

Jamie Shearer

And Tim and Phil too!
We're aiming to raise £5,000 for The Stoke Association and we really need your help! No donation is too small, thank you for your support.
