Blenheim Palace Triathlon · 3 June 2017

We are a small charity with a big ambition set up in memory of Oscar Cole who died very suddenly aged just 16 months in June 2014. We are helping to bring the future of Healthcare to children by utilising the latest technologies such as data science, artificial intelligence and digital solutions.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This weekend, I'm competing in the Blenheim Palace Triathlon. I'll also be cycling 126km the following day as part of the Tour de Cambridgeshire. Partly for my own 'enjoyment' or better still personal challenge, I also want to raise awareness and funds for the incredible charity Thinking of Oscar. Operating in memory of Hannah and David Cole's little boy Oscar who sadly passed away in June 2014, after being treated for a routine infection which developed into a much rarer and unexpected condition. The charity now aims to support families and medical care for children like Oscar and has made amazing progress so far. Please dig deep to continue the support for the valuable work the charity, Hannah, David and the team are doing.

The objectives for ‘Thinking of Oscar’ are:

The relief of sickness and promotion of the health of children, young people and their families whilst in hospital care across England, in particular but not exclusively by:

 - Providing support and activities to patients (children) their families and medical teams who strive to make their time in hospital as comfortable as possible.

  - Providing funding for the development of research and development into and the provision of improved diagnostic techniques and technology.

  - Providing increased access to relevant knowledge and data via the sharing of best practice and the application of technology.
