UNICEF (the United Nations International Children's Fund) operates in over 190 countries to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and strive to improve policies and services that protect all children. UNICEF’s aim is to make the world a safer place for children, operating through a series of initiatives including child protection, child survival, education, emergency situations, and gender equality. UNICEF on Campus – SOAS, University of London, is a student-initiated branch supporting UNICEF’s work. We aim to utilize student resources and capabilities through events to fundraise and raise awareness about UNICEF’s cause in providing emergency and long-term aid and resources to vulnerable children across the world.
