Hi Everyone, this year Im on my bike again raising much needed funds for Children's Hospice South West and the Precious Lives Appeal 2010. This year I've been a good girl and got some training in so 240 miles over 3 days from St Austell to Bristol doesnt hurt quite so much, although from this picture it wouldnt appear that Im training at all!!!
The facts: Children's Hospice South West cares for children who have illnesses which mean they will die before reaching adulthood. They provide hospice care across the South West and provide essential time out and support for families who are exhausted by the relentless medical and nursing regimes that dictate their every day and a place for brothers and sisters to be a child first, have fun and laugh. Things that you and I take for granted........The reality: Only 9% of their funding comes from government which leaves a huge 91% of 5 million that we can help find.The future: With your support, we can make a difference. As the TESCO man says "every little helps............!!
